SPECIAL MEETING / WORK SESSION WELCOME AND ROLL CALL:
This meeting is being held in accordance with Section 3313.15 of the Ohio Revised Code.

2.00 Min NEW BUSINESS

  • The Kenston Board of Education approved a resolution declaring it necessary to levy an additional 1.0-Mill Tax Levy for 5 years for the purpose of General Permanent Improvements and requesting the Geauga County Auditor to make certain certifications, pursuant to Sections 5705.03 and 5705.21 of the Revised Code. 3.10 Min EXECUTIVE SESSION- TWO MOTIONS MADE BY THE BOARD

  • A motion to enter into Executive Session Pursuant to R.C. 121.22(G)(8), for the purpose of considering consideration of confidential information related to the marketing plans, specific business strategy, production techniques, trade secrets, or personal financial statements of an applicant for economic development assistance, or to negotiations between the School District and other political subdivisions respecting requests for economic development assistance.

  • A motion to enter into Executive Session Pursuant to R.C. 121.22(G)(8), that the executive session is necessary to protect the interests of the applicant or the possible investment or expenditure of public funds to be made in connection with the economic development project.   A unanimous vote is required for this vote.  

5.30 Min Board entered into executive session at 5:20 p.m. as per President Tom Manning.

5.50 Min Board returned at 7:47 p.m. as per President Manning. No action taken.

6 .00 Min Motion to adjourn at 7:48 p.m. approved and the video ended at 6.16 Min.
